I don't have a bank account to sign up for the billing account how do i redeem the google cloud credits

    Thanks for reaching out. We understand that not everyone has a credit or debit card, and this presents a significant challenge for setting up a Google Cloud account.

    Unfortunately, Google Cloud generally requires a credit or debit card to set up a billing account for each individual, even to access the Free Tier or Free Trial. This is a mandatory step for identity verification and account activation.

    Without a credit or debit card, direct access to create an individual Google Cloud account is blocked.

    We understand this is a difficult situation. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Shawni , hackathons that require any type of financial information upfront need to be marked as such upfront.
    Very similar to crypto stuff, or regional , or in person, big waste of time and enthusiasm to start gathering info for a project then find out there's a catch.

    Even better if cloud platform ones are marked with a usage based billing reminder as they can catche new learners right in the pocket.
