Sharing git repo

For the sharing of the repo, who do I add as a viewer?
Or is the idea to make the repo public?

    Thanks for reaching out. The Official Rules state the following: "Include a URL to your public code repository to show how your project was built. The code repository must be public to allow access for judging and testing. By submitting this code, you confirm you have the authority and right to share the code for the purposes described in this Contest."

    Thank you for your swift reply Shawni D.!

    What if we build something amazing, and would like to further develop it after the contest? It would not be a good idea to make it public then. Or is the purpose of this contest to be an open source event?
