Feedback on Regional Representation – Oceania Region

Hi There,

I am a participant from Australia and noticed that the listed regional prize categories do not explicitly include Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, and neighboring countries).

While the Asia Pacific region is mentioned, it’s unclear whether Oceania is included or considered separately. Given the active tech and startup communities in this part of the world, and the increasing participation from developers and researchers in global hackathons, I kindly suggest clarifying or explicitly including “Oceania” as a distinct region or clearly stating its inclusion within “Asia Pacific.”

This would ensure fair recognition and representation for participants from this region and align with the spirit of global inclusiveness that hackathons stand for.

Thank you for your attention, and I appreciate the fantastic opportunity this event provides to innovators worldwide.

Thanks for your note. The Official Rules link to this page which lists Australia and neighboring countries under the Asia Pacific region (https://googlecloudmultiagents.devpost.com/details/regions). We have not used Oceania as a separate region. We hope this clarifies. Thank you.
